Installing your signature
These are instructions, not a guarantee. Email clients render HTML differently, so test each client yourself before rolling a signature out.
Outlook (Windows desktop)
- Copy the signature in Signature Studio.
- In Outlook, go to File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
- Create a new signature and paste with Ctrl+V into the edit box.
- Assign it to New messages, and the compact reply to Replies/forwards.
- Send a test message to yourself and to one external address before relying on it.
Gmail (web)
- Copy the signature in Signature Studio.
- In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → General → Signature.
- Create a signature and paste with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V.
- Set signature defaults for new mail and replies, then Save changes.
- Send a test message to yourself and check it on a phone as well.
Apple Mail (macOS)
- Download the HTML file and open it in Safari.
- Select the whole signature on the page and copy it.
- In Mail, go to Settings → Signatures, create a signature and paste it.
- Untick “Always match my default message font”.
- Send a test message to yourself before relying on it.
Before you test
- Images only appear once the brand asset base URL is public and verified.
- Signature Studio cannot install anything into an email account for you, and does not connect to your mailbox.
- Check the result in the clients your recipients actually use, including dark mode and mobile apps.
